Mr. Viktor Manev
Mr. Viktor Manev, Managing Partner, Consulting Team, is a Certified Management Consultant and the Chairman of the Ethics Commission with BAMCO (the national association of management consultants). Mr. Manev started his career in the biggest insurance company on the Bulgarian market, DZI (1993) and was responsible for the marketing strategy of the life insurance division (1994) and the formation of a private pension fund (1995). Prior to founding MM Consult Mr. Manev served as a chief financier of the Center for Mass Privatization (CMP) at the Council of Ministers (1996-98) where he was responsible for the entire institutional financing of the privatization of more than 1,000 Bulgarian enterprises. Since 1994, Mr. Manev actively participated in FDI inflow and M&A deals estimated at USD 130 mln, while through his work as a state official 18 percent of the state-owned assets were turned into private hands. Mr. Manev has BS in Finance from WVWC, WV and specialization in comparative studies in the University of Oxford.
Mr. Svetlin Mihnev
Mr. Mihnev is a Founding Partner of MM Consult Ltd. Prior to the inception of MM Consult, Mr. Mihnev has worked in academia and as a finance and business consultant. In 2001, he joined the University of Antwerp Management School as business project assistant. Currently Mr. Mihnev is responsible for entrepreneur services and services for the thematic networks within Gate2Growth.com, a European Commission-supported initiative offering web-portal and associated services to innovative entrepreneurs.
Mr. Alexander Pazderski
Mr. Pazderski, Director, Corporate Finance and Research Team, has been with the firm since his graduation from the UNWE, Sofia, Bulgaria. Mr. Pazderski has a Master's Degree in International Business and extra-curricular qualification in financial research and investment banking. Mr. Pazderski has extensive experience in corporate finance and business intelligence, and has been a team leader in the execution of core MM Consult Ltd. assignments.

Mr. Jacob P. Lipson
Mr. J.P. Lipson is the chairman of the Crossover Bond Fund since 1998. CBF is the largest non-institutional trader of corporate bonds in the US with over USD 1 bln per month in corporate bonds traded. From 1992 to 1998, he was director of Iowa Select Farms, which was founded by him with over USD 600 mln in total financing. From 1988 to 1993, he was the co-chairman of Premium Standard Farms, a company with annual sales of over USD 500 mln, which was also founded by him. Mr. Lipson started his career at Salomon Brothers, where he held various positions between the years 1978 and 1987. At Salomon, he worked as a Team Leader in Mergers & Acquisitions, on junk bond desk, bond arbitrage desk and on the NYSE and CME floors.
Mr. Jules Garfunkel
Mr. Jules Garfunkel is President and owner of JBGarfunkel and Associates, a firm specializing in financial consulting services. Post the 1989 changes, Mr. Garfunkel began coming to Bulgaria where he represented several of the World's largest Multinational Telecommunications Companies looking to invest in South Central Europe. Prior to his extensive travels to Bulgaria, Jules was head of Market Strategy for AT&T's "Office of the Future". Here he functioned as a "Futurist" planning market strategies for future IT business applications. Mr. Garfunkel was well suited for this position having come from Wall Street's EFHutton Inc. where in the mid 1970s he was Senior Financial Analyst covering the Computer and Telecommunication Industries. At EFHutton, he was a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts (NYSSA) and authored a paper correctly predicting the coming of the PCs, E-mail, E-Commerce, and a "road map" for the development of the fledgling Information Technology (IT) Industry. Before going to Wall Street, Mr. Garfunkel held positions with Univac Computer as Head of Competitive Analysis, with Honeywell Inc. as a Programmer and System Representative and with the U.S. Navy as a Communications Officer. He is a Graduate of Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Marketing and Business Administration, and has taken Graduate Courses in Computer Sciences.
Mr. Rado Petkov
Mr. Petkov core experience is in investment analysis and advisory work in emerging markets. He started his career at the EastWest Institute in New York in 1995. As Deputy Director of the Institute, Mr. Petkov worked closely with governments and investors in the region to improve the conditions for foreign investment and private sector development. His work involved restructuring the banking system in central Europe, developing the capital markets in Bulgaria and Romania, and promoting foreign investment in Russia. In 2001, Mr. Petkov joined Rila Solutions, an IT and wireless consulting company founded by George Soros, as Business Development Manager. Following Rila, Petkov joined Lehman Brothers Eurasia Group where he provided emerging markets consulting services to institutional clients in the U.S. and Europe. He is currently Vice President of Shelbourne Capital Partners, a New York - based investment advisory firm, and Director of the Southeast Europe Finance Consortium. Mr. Petkov has a Master's degree in International Economics from the New School University and MBA training from the New York University School of Business.
